Our team is lighthearted, missions-minded, and others-focused, so we encourage you to swing by our office or set up a virtual appointment to discuss one of the ways we can partner with you in your training to serve the Church and fulfill the Great Commission!

Southeastern Seminary believes that theological education is best done in partnership with the local church. Therefore, the purpose of Equip is to partner with local churches and para-church organizations to provide practical theological training through internships. These internships equip students to serve the church and fulfill the Great Commission. Field ministry and practicum experience prepares students for ministry through mentoring and training specific to the call God has placed on their lives. CGCS Office: Jacumin-Simpson Building, 1st floor

The Center for Great Commission Studies (CGCS) is the hub for all missions degree programs in both the college and the seminary. All Southeastern-sponsored mission trips are also housed in the CGCS. To help equip students to fulfill the Great Commission we offer free course credit for all of our mission trips. If you have any questions about Southeastern missions degrees, IMB/NAMB requirements, or Southeastern-sponsored mission trips, please stop by ¡ª we are here to serve you any way we can.

Seeking to engage culture as salt and light, presenting and defending the Christian faith and demonstrating its implications for all areas of human existence, the L. Russ Bush Center for Faith and Culture serves as an enrichment resource for Southeastern students, faculty, and staff as well as the surrounding community. Each semester we offer opportunities for students to hear special lectures on a variety of faith and culture-related topics as well as to participate in the Center’s mentorship program. The Bush Center also sponsors an Oxford Study program every summer.

The Center for Preaching and Pastoral Leadership (CPPL) exists to equip and encourage pastors to lead healthy, disciple-making churches for the glory of God around the world. The Center seeks to fulfill this mission through its events, content, mentoring opportunities, and partnerships. It is our desire the CPPL would serve as an intentional bridge between the seminary and the local church by providing helpful resources to current and future church leaders.
